WANG ZHUANG-WEI
WANG ZHUANG-WEI王壯為
1909-1998
Wang Zhuang-Wei was the mentor of calligraphy and engraving artists in Taiwan.  He was originally from Hebei Province; “Huan Li” was his name but after 35 he was addressed by “Zhuang-Wei” which was his courtesy name.  The name of his atelier was “Yu-Zao Mountain House,” “ Liang-Tsuo Gi,” and “ Shi-shi Zhai.”  He had great passion for art and culture, his calligraphy was taught by Sheng Yin-Mo.  After retreating to Taiwan, he found the “Ten People Art Society” and published “Seal Collection of Hai-Chiao.”
